Modern Office

Location: Lynnwood, Washington

Design Goals: The owners of Airtest purchased a building in Lynnwood to relocate their offices. The existing two-story building was in good condition, but in great need of an interior remodel on both floors and to be brought up to code. The design for this new office space includes various walls to be removed and/or relocated to create a more functional flow for the general offices, expand upon the conference room, update bathrooms & kitchen, design a new employee break room and common spaces. Our architectural designers worked to prepare permit sets for demolition, electrical, ADA accessibility, and drafted a proposed plan with equipment layout, exiting requirements, fire safety details, and occupancy load calculations for areas of work. Our interior designer worked with the clients to choose upgraded finishes throughout the entire space, including the bathrooms, office spaces, kitchenette, and hallways. The bathrooms were updated to meet ADA code requirements, add new finishes, along with designing a new kitchenette with refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave.
